Future State Changes - Coming in 2027!
The following changes are required due to the CPB system implementation in January 2027, and updated resources will be forthcoming as more information is provided by CPB:
- The transaction deadline will move from Second Tuesday to First Friday on the Payroll Calendar.
- Withholding Forms will be submitted online thru the new Statewide Personnel and Payroll System portal.
- Home Address changes will NOT require new withholding forms. Employees will submit home address changes in UMD Workday, which will then be sent directly to the State.
- Direct Deposit Forms will be submitted online thru the new SPPS portal.
- Payslips will be available in the new SPPS portal.
Please note that 2026 W-2s will be mailed per usual. There are no additional updates from CPB at this time, but any new information related to W-2 requests will be shared with the campus community and updated on the Payroll Services website.
